Issue with Breastfeeding Support Practices Training

The Go NAPSACC Breastfeeding Support Practices training stops midway and can not be viewed until the end. The fix is in process by the separate company that hosts Go NAPSACC's trainings. Please complete other trainings in the module in the meantime. We will update this banner once the issue is resolved. For questions, email us at gonapsacc@unc.edu.

Go NAPSACC Named Cost-Effective Intervention – Harvard CHOICES Strategy Report

The Harvard Childhood Obesity Cost-Effectiveness Study (CHOICES) published Strategy Report: Creating Healthier Early Care and Education Environments, a paper using cost-effectiveness analysis to compare the costs and outcomes of incorporating Go NAPSACC into states’ Quality Rating and Improvement Systems (QRIS) for early care and education (ECE) programs. The study analyzes Go NAPSACC’s potential impact on nutrition, physical activity, & screen time policies & practices for children ages 3-5 if the program was implemented in all 50 U.S. states.

CHOICES found that Go NAPSACC is a cost-effective program with the potential to prevent over 27,000 cases of obesity over 10 years.
